Champion Beer of Scotland

The Champion Beer of Scotland competition is judged at one of the CAMRA Beer Festivals immediately prior to opening so that you the public have the chance to try the same brew and discuss whether you agree with the judges. For its first two years the competition was been held in Edinburgh and from 1998 to 2002 the judging took place at the Aberdeen & North East Beer Festival. Since 2003 the competition has been held at the Scottish Traditional Beer Festival in Edinburgh. The judges are drawn from the brewing industry, licensed trade and media as well as CAMRA members who have trained as official tasters. Most of the images below are clickable links to a brewery.
